Family (Theme 145)

These are just a few of photos I have of the family. It is quite large and doesn't show everyone but give me some time and I will take care of that issue. I always have my camera close. Now, to those of you not shown....I'm looking for you.

Soup (Theme 3)

Here is dinner......chicken soup. You can never go wrong with soup in a crock pot and everyone loves it. Those of you that know my family, do you think there was any left????

Running (Theme 213)

I chose this layout because I loved watching these 2 play t-ball. The one thing they did without having to be told what or how to do is to run. You can see Tyler in the bottom right running to home plate and yes he did score.

Fingers (Theme 20)

Brenden's fingers are all about the bow on Regan's head. No matter how she turned he knew that bow was there and ripe for picking. He would just laugh and smile when she tried to turn so he couldn't touch her hair. It's all about the game and never mind his brother t-ball game going on behind him so you can see it's all about the bow.

History (Theme 73)

Ryan playing T-ball and we did so well and took the State Championship that the Coach asked us to go to the World Series in Sulpher, LA. It was a great experience for the kids and a small vacation for all of us. It was sooo hot but the boys played well. We came in 9th overall and that is our league team against travel teams that practiced all year. We even placed 3rd in most productive offense play.

Dandelion (Theme 72)

I don't seem to have a problem with this theme because these little things are covering my yard. If not for them then it would be dirt. Tom will mow the grass one day and the next these little weeds are 6 inches tall. I'm sure my neighbors are loving our yard too and soon they will have these invading their yards because you know how kids like to pick these up and blow them......we have seeds everywhere now. I think its time to concrete the yard and paint it green??? Perfect idea because no weeds, no mowing, it won't brown and I can park on it......LOL

Sunglasses (Theme 122)

We had just arrived at The Cove Church for a Cajun dinner in Townsend, TN and I looked over and the bopsie twins in pink were still Hollywood so I took their picture.

Iconic (Theme 113)

This is the tower at Alcoa Aluminum Company where they make the cans you drink your soda's out of. Inside this tower there hanging flat sheets of aluminum that will be rolled and shipped to different companies that make soda. This is the icon of Alcoa and Alcoa is short for Al (Aluminun) CO (company) A (America).

Mask (Theme 101)

Tom is wearing a mask I made for Ryan to go along with his spiderman cape that he had when he was around 4 years old. The hats the boys are wearing are covers for his bicycle helmet. You know the nut doesn't fall far from the tree now does it???

Sport (Theme 232)

Ryan is pitching this season and doing a really good job. I took this picture of him and loved the facial expression. He has this face in most of the shots I have taken so far. I played around with different overlays and brushed to get the look I wanted then burnt the edges and gave it a chocolate sepia finish. This is all after I saw a fantastic picture from a friends sports photos.

Comfort (Theme 238)

Loafy, Bo and Molly taking an afternoon nap on my bed. They sure have the life of leisure and comfort. Hard to believe that they are 15 years old and Loafy (Orange) will be 16 this summer. When I come back I want to be one of my cats.

Coins (Theme 77)

Two things here make me smile......one is that the 3 kids were hunting coins at the bottom of the pool. I'm proud of them for being able to swim and dive. The second is that they did this for hours. Proof is in the finger tips.....all wrinkled and they all had smiles on their faces.

Tender (Theme 253)

Here is Loafy and his name is really Milo but we love nicknames and Milo became Meatloaf and Meatloaf became Loafy so that is what he know and answers to. Loafy like to sit in Tom's lap and demands attention from him. Here is one of his moments where he wanted his neck scratched.

Masculine (Theme 271)

Now this doesn't have one feminine thing on the truck....this oozes testosterone and that is why I chose this picture to represent masculine.

Go Wild (Theme 341)

This is Riley and she went wild jumping in the pool and making a splash. It was a contest of who could jump more, or find the quarter and for that matter, they all went wild.

Forbidden (Theme 180)

The trash cans in the Smoky Mountains National Parks are all bear proof. The surrounding towns of the Smokies get the bears that are more adventurous because we don't have the bear proof cans. We don't see too many bears but we have had several black bears running around our town. Some have been near the schools and just recently we had one adult black bear that liked the McDonald's trash cans. He was having quite a feast.

Delicate (Theme 363)

My beautiful Valentine rose from my Father-in-Law and can you believe that it lasted for over a month. I think this is better than chocolate because it didn't go to my hips.

Collage (Theme 174)

Regan's first lesson riding a horse and she did great. Of course we had to go see all the other animals that were mulling around like Baily the goat, Lucky the bird, the baby chickens, dogs and don't forget the rabbits that are not pictured.

Broken (Theme 187)

This is a core sample from beneath the Norris Dam so they know that the ground is sold and there won't be any structural problems because of the ground.

Fog (Theme 196)

Traveling to Gatlinburg I kept seeing these low level clouds and when we passed an area that I knew had a view, or should have had a view I took the picture. Guess this is why the call these the Great Smoky Mountains.

Direction (Theme 224)

So, which way do I go??? Can you guess where we were?

Smile (Theme 7)

This is be niece Riley and she has such a wonderful smile. As you can see she is swimming and enjoying it because she had several of her cousins with her to play.

Feet (Theme 269)

Thank you Riley and Olivia for posing for the picture. They had matching flip flops and the only thing missing was Riley wanted painted toes. They sure are girly feet, aren't they?

Unusual (Theme 335)

We were headed to Gatlinburg and stopped by the sinks to see the water level. It was down a little but still a nice place to visit. There have been some swimmers and tubers that have not made it out of the sinks so it is very dangerous if you get caught in the rapid. Tom wanted to show Ryan what things looked like and while they were looking at the water I ventured around an snapped a few shots of some things that caught my eye. This tree looks like a hand and I thought it was unusual.

Magnet (Theme 244)

Having just started baseball I had to put the magnet back on the car. Ryan plays for the Longhorns and since we are in Orange Country or Tennessee Vol's territory we get the evil eye when we wear anything with the Longhorn logo. I usually have to explain that our Longhorns are not the same as the Texas Longhorns......we are little league baseball with a big name. Then we get the, "oh, well that's ok." reaction and I go back to wearing my Vol clothing.

Herb (Theme 184)

The herb is rosemary growing in my Mother-in-law's garden. She has quite the green thumb. It's early spring so I know I will have many more pictures of the growth yet to be in her yard.

Help (Theme 317)

Help, I don't know what to do......do I withdraw money or get a tattoo? Help me I can't decide. Awwww, maybe it's best I do both. One never knows I may have to get one for my mid-life-crisis. I'm not there yet but it could spontaneously start at any moment.

Ironwork (Theme 46)

A simple butterfly in the garden at my Mother-in-laws house caught my eye. This one didn't fly away when I went close to take it's picture. Maybe because it's metal????

Perfect (Theme 222)

Let me introduce you to PERFECT. His name is Pattern's Black Diamond aka Moose. He is huge and a beautiful horse to watch. Elizabeth has his mother Babe and she looks just like Moose only darker. The sad thing is that she is blind but doing very well. Babe also gave birth to another horse and believe it or not is only half the size of Moose. Now maybe you can see why he has the nick name of Moose because he is just that.

Farm Yard (Theme 190)

All of these photos in the layout are from my friend's farm. Look closely and you will see chickens, horses, bunnies and even Bailey the goat. What a great goat she is. We walked all over the farm and she followed us and stood close so she didn't miss a thing. The bunnies were so cute......all 14 of them. Guess that's what happens when you put males and females together. Since then, daddy bunny has been move to an undisclosed location...he can't afford 14 babies.

Ruined (Theme 25)

Ok now i may get in trouble for this but you know, that's normal. This is a little story about a small flat napkin that once was. My Mother-in-law destroys these and now I have proof. Every time we are together I have a good laugh at the state of napkin after dinner. So, when's dinner???

Friendship (Theme 362)

This is Casey the Great Dane and he is no longer with us, sadly to say. I do miss him dearly. He was my best friend and liked to pretect and he did so in funny ways. He would lay on me, sit one me and get between anyone that was next to me like he was saying, "My mom." His favorite things to do was ride in my Honda Prelude and stick his head out of the sunroof as we drove. His ears would fly in the wind and his mouth would fill with air, so funny to watch. Those are just some of the reasons he is sadly missed.

Exotic (Theme 62)

This is my wall of exotic cross stitich. The tree in the center I did by hand and those are a giraffe, white tiger eyes and the tiger face. The top is of my Meerkats and I did that on my embroidery machine in a few hours. The bottom one is of a cheetah that I did on the machine too. They all look the same and you will not be able to tell the difference in machine vs. hand as long as I get the holes lined up correctly. Isn't technology great???

Challenge (Theme 29)

The theme is challenge and this is the last page layout for a digital scrap class that I'm in and I did a few extra things and used different papers to come up with my layout. It was a fun class and I'm excited to learn more in the next one. I did this page for Grandma and the boys. In the top photo of Grandma, she is yelling at me to stop taking her picture. I seem to get that a lot these days but you know what..........I DON'T CARE!!!

Flight (Theme 327)

The flowers are on my mini peach tree in my front garden and they only last a short time until the leaves come out. You can see the start of the red leaves at the end of the flower where the bee is headed. I was trying to capture the flurry of activity of bee's and here is my favorite one.....he's in flight!

Keyhole (Theme 162)

The house that this keyhole is in is now the Title Company office where I work. The building was built in the 1940's.

Gift (Theme 159)

This is one of the simplest yet nicest things. It's a glass block with christmas light inside and a ribbon. My Mother-in-law received this as a gift one year and displays it at Christmas time. It's a really nice decoration.

Postbox/Mailbox (Theme 94)

Snow covered mailbox and you can see that the snow was rather deep that day. We can only wish that we get a snow fall like that in TN but it rarely happens so we go visit family in New York.

Doodle (Theme 80)

There are days that I have to take my kids to the office and Ryan sits there drawing pictures for my to decorate my walls. This is one of his doodles and I had to show it off. Now he's into drawing airplanes so it's hard to get him to make me somthing like this one and as you know, I'm tired of airplanes.......so tired.

Waiting (Theme 353)

Waiting at the airport........ALL DAY. This was our day in Cincinnati that will not be forgotten. I will try but I don't think it will happen. I was exhaused by the middle of the day and at the end, well let's just say I was asleep before my head even hit the pillow.

Pancake (Theme 345)

Everyday Grandma would make pancakes for Ryan and finally she told him it was his turn so you see what he did. He ate so many that I think he will turn into a pancake.

Knowledge (Theme 315)

Here is a wealth of knowledge just sitting here on a shelf in the back of my office. T.C.A. books with all the decisions of past cases in Tennessee Law.

Generations (Theme 205)

Ryan and his Grandfather, Bob and his mother, Rose. Ryan's father is missing in this photo then I would have 4 generations but for now we will have to work with 3. Ryan is holding a train that his father used to spend hours playing with.

Hat (Theme 4)

The boys were running around the house and my nephew, Aaron came around the corner with this hat on and we just laughted so having my camera handy I took his picture. He is so cute and such a love. He will just come up to you and give you a huge hug for no reason.

Casual (Theme 140)

Here is my Brother-in-law in New York showing his rugged side. If this isn't casual then I'm sadly mistaken by what the CASUAL means. He is warm, comfortable and relaxed and this picture shows off his fun personality. I laughed each time I would look at him riding the snowmobile and his hat looked like long ears flapping in the wind. We had a fantastic time with them.

Traffic (Theme 185)

If this board doesn't show traffic, I don't know what does. Most of these flights cancelled due to weather. Glad I was stuck inside instead of outside in the blizzard.

Eyes (Theme 67)

We were stuckin the snow on an active runway in a Delta plan in Cincinnati during a blizzard. Doesn't she look thrilled? We all were but now it's over and we have something to talk about out of the norm and photos to prove it.

Distorted (Theme 348)

We were in a Delta plane looking out the window at the de-icing machine and as you can see the view was distorted due to the ice. It was a bad day but at least I was able to get some fun photos.

Birds (Theme 143)

I know, the theme is birds but in this was my favorite bird photo. I saw this dark spot up in the sky, thinking it was a Hawk I took a picture. It wasn't until I got home and zoomed in to see it that I realized it was a Bald Eagle. I was thrilled. I did this page in CS3.......This was taken at the same park where my son is tubing and the theme is Monday.

Monday (Theme 355)

Monday we arrived in Syracuse, NY to visit with our family and my Father-in-law took us to Longbranch Park to tube down the hill. Ryan had a blast playing in the snow. We don't get much snow at home so it was hard to get him back inside even when he was cold or I was frozen.
