On January 3rd, Alcoa Fire Department had a busy day. This is an extended stay motel where the heater in this room sparked and caught fire. No one was hurt but they did lose everything they had in the room.
Tom, my husband, is the one on top hanging over the roof talking to his fellow fire fighters below. White helmet's are Captain rank, Red helmet is Lieutenant and Yellow is a Firefighter.

Thanks Linda, I will tell him. He and his entire department is top notch in my book. I will have to post another one that just made me melt when I was what he was doing. I never feared for him until this one fire and I had to see it on the front page of the paper. He said, "oh yeah, that's me" You could have pushed me over with a feather. I will post the house fire photo and you will see why if felt that way.
