This is the Sunsphere in downtown Knoxville, TN. It was built for the 1982 Worlds Fair and housed an observation deck and restaurant. Now, it's just an observation deck and old photos of how things were looked in 1982. Beautiful sight even if you driving thru Knoxville on I-40.
